Mimi and Papa came for labor day weekend - they came in a new fashion (yet again) by way of Dallas in their new Cruiser. They have big plans for a road trip next year and some camping adventures (and their plans keep getting bigger as Lincoln adds to them - "know what else we need"). The boys' thought the Cruiser was pretty awesome and are looking forward to their first overnight in it - especially after watching the movie RV - they think there may be some adventures to be had!
We also went to Shogun which was Carter's birthday choice - scallops, shrimp & fire - can't go wrong with that combo! We also have added a lobster tail shell to our random learning collection (it now includes the deer jaw with teeth, a feather & a lobster tail shell).

We made a trip to the Zoo to enjoy the insanely beautiful weather - with the other half of OKC that had the same idea - oh well the fresh air was perfect for all of us & gave us a great reason to check out a new market in OKC with the best sweet corn - seriously sad that it came from California - really it made me a bit sad.
I'm still getting over the labor day cold I got - hoping tomorrow will be THE day to wake up normal!!
