Summertime Begins Now!

The Official Last Day of School Pics!

Carter's class did a book that each of them wrote a page & drew a pictures, of course, I was being too cheap and didn't order and THEN I saw the neighbors and couldn't wait to see Carter's. I got to see it today - it is so sweet (and I ordered one instantly!). I know that I've gotten tons of mommy love but this is an outpouring to daddy from C, I'm 1% jealous & 99% so glad that Sean can see how much he is adored by his son.

Here are his words
When I grow up I want to work on a Golf Course like my dad, because I can go there and on Mondays I can go fishing if I want to. I will make ten dollars. I will wear like a funny kind of brown uniform, a black shirt with stripes. I will live in Oklahoma, somewhere like where Cooper lives. I will live in a house that is brown, red and green. I do not want to get married because I could just stay home and do whatever I want to do. I will have two children. I will have two boys whose names will be Jack and Carston. I will drive a grey truck, one that is big and can haul big trailers. I will shop at Walgreens and Target for stuff for irrigations leaks or a safe boat for a flood. For fun, I will sometimes get a Wii games and play Star Wars. The hardest part about being a grown up is working at a job. The coolest part about being a grown up is getting to go out to dinner with friends.

Last day of preschool!

Can't believe our baby is a preschool grad now! I was totally ok with it until another mom said "can you believe it is our last day after 5 years of being here" ahhh, mini-tears! It has been so much fun to watch Lincoln grow this year!

Awards Day!

Kinder awards were today - yep, that means it is almost over (sob...) Carter got a reading award, was recognized for "Excellent Thinking" by his teacher, got an award for Fantastic Phonics & even won an award from the music teacher. The bottom pictures are his buddies "the twins" Christopher and Nathaniel (don't ask me which is which, you must actually look at their freckles or listen to voices to figure it out!)

T-ball was so much fun this week! Carter got all 3 outs in one inning which was great for his confidence & will to play (something important at this stage of the season when he's getting less enthusiastic!)

Grandma Visits

Donna visited this week - we had lots of fun! The boys got Grandma cookies (and to help roll them in powdered sugar which is a great time for them!), we got lots of girl time to shop and browse (yippee!) and got 2 tball teams taken in. A good and very busy week!

Our favorite little man, Baby Luke, spent a morning with us last weekend! We sure are going to miss this little guy when he ditches OK for CA!

A night out in Becky's honor as she turned another year older & prepared for her first 1/2 marathon! Becky at top, Jen & Lindsey at bottom!

 Yes, I know it is sideways - but you get the idea! He's become quite the monkey - so much that I've signed them up for a session of gymnastics this summer. I think the little monkey will love it, he was standing on the bar, feet in the handles (a great way to break legs, per Sean) and was also twisting the bar, hanging upside down with his feet on the bar! Never a dull day with Linc.

Backyard work!

We spent two weekends ago redoing the back porch - new siding, new paint - a little more of a project than any of us bargained for but glad it is done! The boys were BIG help as you might imagine!

Dad's night out!

Here is Linc playing with shaving cream at dad's night out a few weeks ago. They had a great time - dinner, purchasing his very own baseball glove & fun at school! Hard to believe he will be out of preschool in a few weeks!
