Welcome LeRoy!

No we don't have a new puppy and certainly aren't thinking of expanding our family in any way other than with Carter's baby doll. He typically calls the baby just baby but when we ask what the baby's name is he ALWAYS says "Daddy says his name is LeRoy". Come on daddy, LeRoy - the first name that came to your mind!

We got to celebrate Jossi's birthday with her today & Carter had a great time testing out all of her new toys - some before she got to, I think. Lincoln is moving faster but still doesn't realize he can make it any distance but I know it is a matter of time until I hear "Mom, Linky's in my XYZ", it is going to be rather interesting around here in the near future.

Sean has been really busy with a tournament at work this week and is in fact back at work tonight. We are ready for him to be home more next week especially as we will be leaving in a week and a half for our Iowa/Wisconsin adventure. We are looking forward to seeing all of our family but really hate leaving Sean behind. I guess we won't feel too badly for him as he is going to visit Jeff & Brenda in San Antonio and I know he is really looking forward to seeing them and meeting Bailey.

I've been busy with my first official week as the MOMS Club president - it is going to be a lot of fun, the board is made of great women who I'm looking so forward to working with - everyone is very enthusiastic. I'm also anticipating the arrival of my friend, Konny who will be stopping by tomorrow to visit with her little girl and sister, it has been over a year since I've seen any of my Texas friends and I'm anxious to see ALL of them (hint, hint!)

We've got a crawler!

Lincoln took off for the first time officially last night. It is just a couple of knees and then usually back to sitting but it is called crawling! He certainly won't win any races right now and Carter may challenge him to one - he said "look at me, I can crawl too!".

He also pulled up for the first official time this morning - he's been pulling up when I'm laying on the floor but it didn't seem like the real deal but this morning as I was typing I turned around and he was standing next to the bed.

With 4 teeth he's lunging toward toddlerhood!

Well I've done it - jumped off the deep end and decided to stop clogging your inbox and start blogging instead. I hope you find it easier to keep up with us this way! I take pictures almost every day so I'll be able to share more of them.

Today was Carter's first day of summer school, he has moved to the Bear room from the Big Birds and was a little nervous when I left him but had a good day and even a nap!

Lincoln is on the move these days - not really crawling but he can get from place to place with enough time. It kind of involves rolling, scooting and lunging forward too. He spent a little time on the dressing room floor this morning and managed to get his head stuck under the mirror (yes that was a mom of the year moment!).
