I finally convinced Lincoln to have another try at the little bike without training wheels - he does great, it is crazy that he doesn't want to try on the grass just wants to go on the cement. He and Sean had a deal that when he could ride to the stop sign he could have the trainers off his big bike - well he almost made it today, but then in trying to get off the bike landed in the gutter. He wasn't real pleased nor was his trainer, Carter (so he's called himself) he says tomorrow they need to work on training some more! The trainer has to bring the bike back after the trainee walks home!

My Texas girls visit! Funny that I think of them as my Texas girls as now only Michele lives there & is also the only native! Loved having Konny & Michele here - love the laughs, being able to chat about all old & new and just getting to spend some quality time with them. Miss this girls so much! Cherish our time together! We had a low-key weekend exploring the city - had dinner on the patio at Hefner Grill looking at the lake on a PERFECT night! We had a nice lunch, got pedicures, saw Hunger Games, visited the OKC Memorial & then dinner and walking at Bricktown! Pretty perfect in my opinion. Don't look to closely you might see the black cheek from catching Carter's perfect hit with the baseball.

I'm not the cool mom who says - "Let's get dirty" I dislike dirt, I dislike mess! Yesterday, Lincoln got the ultimate treat as he created and played in his very own mud puddle! He had fun and cleaned up just fine - maybe I will learn to live with mud - maybe it was a once in a lifetime kinda thing!

Rain Day!

Wipeout!

Starting Spring Break with a rain day - the boys needed to have some outside splish-splash time - Carter could have stayed all day but Linc got chilled. They followed it up with some tub time to warm up & nice "rests" - Linc slept for 2 hours which he hasn't done at home in a LONG time!

Little Mister had a little 'tude about going to bed the other night - this is how Sean found him later - in his brother's room, snuggled up in the chair! By the time I went to check it out he was laying across Carter's legs in his bed!

Some spring football - our weather has been amazing this year and the boys have gotten much more outdoor time that usual for winter.

My table is finished!

I can't seem to locate my "before" picture of the table. It started as a white laminate table with white tiles on the outside (the table belonged to Donna's mom, Phyllis, back when Donna was young, then to the Hogan house, then to us!). Linc and I removed the white tiles & retiled with these awesome brown ones - Sean ended up grouting it for me, not sure if I was every going to have the confidence to do it! I'm pretty happy with it for our back patio.

Linc & Molls

Lincoln and Molly have had play dates for the past year & we have a little play date pattern that includes play dough & a walk to the pond with some Crystal Light (we had it the first time and Molly always says - "How about a drink to take?") and some time with Ms. Kitty. Linc sure is going to miss his buddy Molly when she moves this summer.

Yikes! It has been almost a month - sorry Grandma for no pics! Can't believe I haven't had an email reminder.

These are a few pictures from our church family playdate with the Ketelsleger's last month - glad Carter and Karston became good buddies because Linc & I each gained a friend in Kayla & April! I don't see Sean and Mark wanting their picture taken together just yet but maybe one day they will be that close too!
