Swim lessons are over, boys are sad - Mama is happy - lessons good, 100+ heat, sitting outside for an hour and half BAD!!! Boys did great, Linc is officially swimming and doing somersaults in the water. Carter is very comfortable swimming and has a very strong American Crawl. Now hopefully next year we can do lessons earlier in the summer!

We've been to gym, swim & now home to play - Linc is building a house for Kitty - I guess she's on the front porch? And Carter has become obsessed with archery on the Wii (shhhhh....don't make a sound or it will be your fault if he makes a mistake!)

Official swim lessons...not the mommy kind!

Linc started swimming last week under mommy lessons but is improving this week with the real deal. Today they are swimming in the tub as it is too hot & miserable to consider going anywhere else!

Swimming the Summer Away

Unfortunatly the Thunder splashpad is down in the heat of the summer, but we improvised by playing in the reflective pond at the Myraid Gardens today. Doesn't take much water to make the boys happy!

A quiet 4th!

We didn't have a party for the 4th like we have in the past - that middle of the week messed me up - as did being out of town so close to the 4th. So we had an easy 4th, swam with some friends in the afternoon and lit a few of our own fireworks and then enjoyed all of our neighbors firework obsession! It was great but after 11, I was thinking "enough already".
